With the move to our new MetarTrader 4 server in the Equinix NY4 data center, IC Markets is pleased to inform you we are now able to offer better leverage to take advantage of more trading opportunities.
As of Friday the 25th of May, we will improve the leverage on your trading account depending on your account balance. The table below outlines the new leverage that will apply to your account.
Leverage and Maximum account balances:
- 1:500 – up to $100,000
- 1:400 – up to $500,000
- 1:300 – up to $1,000,000
- 1:200 – up to $5,000,000
- 1:100 – up to $10,000,000
Increased leverage will give more flexibility with position sizing for clients who use Expert Advisor’s and intra-day strategies that use larger position sizes.
Please be aware that although leverage can improve your gains it can also increase your losses if not managed properly.
The new leverage will be applied to all client accounts unless you notify us by email that you would not like the leverage changed on your account.
